The Cooking After

Well, we survived the stores...kinda.  I passed out after we got home.  Lisa, the ever-vigilant, kept on working and got some of the veggies ready for prime time (roasted and steamed so they are almost ready to eat and all we have to do is finish cooking them and munch.) After I got up, we made the homemade mayo and it turned out beautifully.  Talk about a different flavor from regular - not greasy at all.  Of course, it will only last a week or two so...

I took some of the mayo and made a little Cumin Lime Dressing from it.  It really turned out nicely, but I need to quadruple the recipe at least.  Doubling it made enough for a very few meals.

Now, I think its time to make dinner.  I'm going to try some stir-fried chicken and veggies, I think.
